I apologize for not posting this weekend. I was busy and I am preparing for testings for May and June. But besides all that, Penny Dreadful season 3 premiered yesterday! I hope you all will watch it even though I do understand if you can't pay to watch it on Showtime. But if you can, I highly recommend you to watch this show. You can watch it every Sunday at 10 pm on Showtime.
I'm sure no one knows what this show is about so I'll just quickly give you a short summary. So the main character is Vanessa Ives and she is fighting this demon inside of her which leads her to get the help from Victor Frankenstein, Ethan Chandler, and Sir Malcolm. They all go through a journey to fight demons, vampires, witches, and so much more. So all of them are fighting and trying to find and understand themselves.
Even though the story revolves around Vanessa Ives, all the characters do have their own stories where they have to deal with their own problems and demons.
What I like the most about this show is that it's such a beautifully written show. I also love that it has many of the book characters I love like Frankenstein and the Creature. There is also other characters I'm sure you'll know too like Dorian Gray, which I need to read. If you are into the horror classics I think you would love this show or anyone who loves dark genres.
I do want to warn you that there is blood and nudity so I would suggest this to a more mature audience. If you want to have a one on one conversation, you can always just contact me or comment below.
This show is so amazing and I hope that there will be more seasons to come. I was probably vague on my description of the show but I promise you that it is one of the best shows right now. It's so hard for me to describe in words how beautiful and well-written this show is.
Since I love this show so much, I may just end up talking about it every Saturday or Sunday or at least something related to it.
I will end it here and I want to wish you all luck on your AP exams if you are taking any. I'll be taking four of them.
